Comforting, not as stunning as the last Port Ellen I have tried, but super comforting, especially after a long day.
Nose: Sweet banana, Japanese style corn soup, mildly peated with a hint of smoke, seaweed, white cheddar, old newspaper
Palate: Medium body, sweet and savoury, slightly sour, menthol, bit of smoke, mildly peated, peppery, cheesy pastries.
Aftertaste: Long aftertaste, roasted nut
