Nikka Taketsuru Pure Malt is the no age statement pure malt blend named after the founder of Nikka and father of Japanese Whisky, Masataka Taketsuru. Once upon a time there was a range of Taketusru aged malts including the Taketsuru 12, 17, 21 and 25-year statements. Now they’re all gone, leaving just the no age statement by its lonesome.
The current no age statement Taketsuru whisky was released on 31 March 2020 - a reformulation of the previous version which was released in 2013.
