Unfair side by side, NAS vs Single Cask.

My first Indian whisky encounter

Indian, @rampursinglemalt Select, ABV 43%

Nose: lightly aromatic smell but i couldn't pin point what is it, it may be something i had from somersby

Palate: the aromatic smell carried into palate, not complex mono, with some light spice

Finish: Short with some lingering spice, little bitterness towards the end

Score : 79, Thank you @alex.w.liew.7 for the sample

Indian, @amrutmalt Single Cask, 4 Year Old, Distilled June 2009, Bottled Aug 2013, Bourbon Cask #3437, ABV 62.8% , 168 bottles produced.

Nose: gentle nice aromatic nose

Palate: oily mouthfeel , nice coating of sweetness with some oak wood, warmness grows slightly

Finish: Medium finish , lingering caramel sweetness, a tinge of pale IPA beer like

Score : 86, Sample from @whisky.hedonist
