Bruichladdich Octomore 6.3

Courtesy to my friend and his broken cork, I got to taste this wonderful dram.

Nose: With a monstrous stat of 258 ppm. A peat overhaul is expected. Yet the peat was not that overpowering, grassy and seashore like briny notes followed. There were also butter šŸ§ˆ , honey šŸÆ roasted peanut, grilled pork chop with dried thymes. Strong sweet and fruity notes such as melon šŸˆ , freshly cut red apple šŸŽ , orange peel šŸŠ .

Palate: Full bodied, almost had to chew on it. Oily and smooth. Salty, peaty, smoky, syrup like sweetness, mild oaky note.

Aftertaste: long and strong, woody and smoky. Enough to keep you warm for the whole winter.

Cheers!
