Ardbeg Scorch (Ardbeg day special release, ABV 46% version)

To be honest, it was a bit disappointing. Should have gone for the committee release.

Nose: Similar to the typical Ardbeg 10 you can get. Peaty, leathery, smoky, tobacco, a hint of tropical fruit and honey.

Palate: Campfire party is over! The typical campfire, burning charcoal is gone! Replaced by ashes and toot. Round body and salty.

Aftertaste: Grass like, mud puddle kind of taste. A bit of sweetness lingered. Medium finish.

Cheers!
